Okay... here are the english translations of our comic-strips. So far we translated the first 11, but we are regularly translating new ones. The rest of the site will stay in german. But you should still look through all other sections cause they are all very interesting (google translation is your friend :-)

Anyway, here goes our introduction, followed by our comic-strips.

We are "No Neets", one of the first (if not THE first) western Mangaka Group, specialized in manga-style comic strips. Right now, we are 3 people working on it during our free time but we hope to become more Professional in the future.

Our first project is "Nami Otaku"
Happiness is a state of mind that doesn't depend on circumstances or enviroment. Yet Nami's state of mind is poor. She thinks so lowly of herself that she feels unable to deal with even the smallest hardships and views them as big problems so she avoids them instead of trying to deal with them... Hence she has selcuded herself from normal society and her whole live takes place inside her room and computer, from which she separates only when she really has the need to buy food.

Her real-life counterpart on which her character and all the jokes are based, has long become a drug addict and now also appears to be the victim of abuse. Yet she views changing herself as the most painful and has therefore rejected all of our attempts to help her. So as much as we want this comic-strip to be funny, we also want it to be a warning and hope that it will inspire people who can see themselves in Nami to snap out of it, and to thereby make up for our inability to help the real Nami.
